  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Meghan Shallow, Catholic
    October 29, 2018
    (So., M - Havertown, Pa.) Catholic University sophomore Meghan Shallow secured the No. 1 seed and the right to host a semifinal match in the upcoming Landmark Field Hockey Championship. Shallow scored the lone goal off a penalty stroke 18 minutes into the game.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Grace Jung, Catholic
    October 29, 2018
    (Fr., F - Baltimore, Md.) Catholic University freshman Grace Jung played all 7- minutes against Elizabethtown, where she helped the Cardinals defense hold the Blue Jays to one shot to secure the 1-0 win and a No. 1 seed in the championship.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Olivia Marker, Juniata
    October 22, 2018
    (Jr., F - Huntingdon, Pa.) Juniata College junior Olivia Marker came up big this week for the Eagles, as Juniata kept its Landmark postseason hopes alive. Earlier in the week, Marker had an assist on the game winning goal against nonconference Dickinson and had a goal and an assist to help put Drew away.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Devin Brashear, Goucher

    (Fr., G - Escondido, Calif.) Goucher College freshman Devin Brashear had a solid game in net against Elizabethtown on Saturday, making six saves in a 2-1 win for the Gophers over the Blue Jays. She made three saves in each half, as she kept E-Town off the scoreboard for over 61 minutes in the contest. The Blue Jays entered the contest riding a 10-game winning streak, and was previouly undefeated in Landmark play.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Maggie Fees, Elizabethtown
    October 15, 2018
    (Sr, D - Orrtanna, Pa.) Elizabethtown senior Maggie Fees recorded points in both games this past week and extended her point-scoring streak to five straight games. Fees had a goal and an assist for E-town in a 4-0 win over Moravian. She added her fifth assist of the season on Saturday against Scranton and also scored what ended up as the deciding goal in the shootout.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Margo Donlin, Elizabethtown
    October 15, 2018
    (Sr, G - Wilmington, Del.) It was another two-win week for Elizabethtown and senior goalie Margo Donlin. In last Wednesday's win over Moravian, Donlin made two saves to earn her seventh shutout, which ties her for seventh-most in NCAA Division III and leads the Landmark Conference. The Blue Jays won Saturday's shootout 2-1 over Scranton with Donlin forcing misses on four of the Royals' 5 attempts, including forcing the final shot wide to give E-town the win and clinch a home semifinal for the Jays. She made four saves in the game, had six for the week, and allowed just one goal in 160 minutes.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Maggie Fees, Elizabethtown

    (Sr, D - Orrtanna, Pa.) Elizabethtown senior Maggie Fees is well known for her defensive work, but this past week she picked it up offensively with three goals and an assist for seven points in two games. Fees accounted for both goals in E-town's 2-1 win over Wilkes, scoring the game winner in the second half. She recorded a goal and an assist in Saturday's 4-0 win at Drew.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Margo Donlin, Elizabethtown

    (Sr, G - Wilmington, Del.) Elizabethtown ran its win streak to seven games thanks to another stellar week from goalie Margo Donlin. The senior allowed just one goal in 140 minutes total between two games, both wins for the Blue Jays. She made two saves in a 2-1 win over Wilkes this past Wednesday and then shut out Drew on Saturday, only needing to make one save to get the victory. The shutout of the Rangers was her sixth in 12 games as Elizabethtown remained unbeaten in the Landmark at 3-0.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Gracie McClatchy, Scranton

    (Jr., F - Havertown, Pa.) University of Scranton junior Gracie McClatchy scored a hat trick on Saturday to lead the Royals to its first Landmark Conference victory of the season, scoring three of Scranton's first four goals in the 6-0 win on the road. The forward scored the game-winning goal 5:37 into the game before adding goals in the 50th and 56th minutes as Scranton pulled away in the second half.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Margo Donlin, Elizabethtown

    (Sr, G - Wilmington, Del.) Elizabethtown won another two games this past week thanks to the play of Margo Donlin in goal, including a road conference game on Saturday. Donlin stopped four shots at Eastern last Wednesday in E-town's 3-2 non-conference win away from home. On Saturday, Donlin made two saves in the second half as the Blue Jays shut out defending champion Juniata, 1-0. Donlin's fifth shutout of the season, at Juniata, helped Elizabethtown to its fifth straight win overall and 2-0 in the Landmark.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Maya Belin, Goucher
    September 24, 2018
    (Sr., F - Baltimore, Md.) Goucher senior Maya Belin was a force on the offensive end on the week for the Gophers, as they rolled past Frostburg State and Drew on the road. SHe recorded the first hat trick of her career on Tuesday at Frostburg, then followed it up with a two goal effort at Drew on Saturday.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Margo Donlin, Elizabethtown

    (Sr, G - Wilmington, Del.) Elizabethtown senior goalie Margo Donlin had another outstanding week in the cage for the Blue Jays, who went 2-0 with wins over York (Pa.) and Susquehanna. Donlin stopped six shots against York to help preserve a 2-1 win over the Spartans last Wednesday. Donlin came back on Saturday in the Landmark Conference opener and made four saves in a 1-0 shutout win in overtime over the River Hawks to open league play.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Megan Gallagher, Scranton
    September 17, 2018
    (So., M - Thorndale, Pa.) Scranton sophomore Megan Gallagher led the Royals to a 3-0 week by recording seven points on one goal and five assists. After scoring Scranton's second goal in a 2-0 victory at Misericordia on Tuesday, the sophomore midfielder dished out four assists to lead the Royals to a 6-1 victory over King's on Thursday. Gallagher closed out the week by assisting on the only goal in Scranton's 1-0 win at Arcadia on Saturday.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Kim McGroary, Catholic
    September 17, 2018
    (So., GK - Phoenixville, Pa.) Catholic sophomore Kim McGroary helped the Cardinals to their first win of the season last week. McFroary tied her career-best with 11 saves against Stevenson. She allowed one goal in the the 2-1 win.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week -Gracie McClatchy, Scranton
    September 10, 2018
    (Jr., F - Havertown, Pa.) Junior Gracie McClatchy totaled 11 points on five goals and one assist and netted the game-winning goal in both of Scranton's games in a 2-0 week. The junior forward scored the final three goals after assisting on the Royals' first goal in a 4-1 win over William Paterson on Wednesday. McClatchy then scored Scranton's first two goals in a 4-0 victory over Elmira on Saturday.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Ryan Callaghan, Drew
    September 10, 2018
    (Sr, GK - Fountain Valley, Calif.) Drew senior Ryann Callaghan averaged 10.5 saves per game over a pair of matches for the Rangers. In a 3-0 loss at Widener, she turned aside a season-high 16 shots and broke the school record for career saves. She also made five saves in a 1-0 shootout loss to Keuka, blanking the Wolves over 90 minutes of regulation and overtime. Callaghan posted a 2.00 goals-against average and a .840 save percentage for the week.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Gracie McClatchy, Scranton
    September 04, 2018
    (So., M - Thorndale, Pa.) Sophomore Megan Gallagher scored both of Scranton's goals in a 2-1 victory at Muhlenberg in Friday night's season-opener. The sophomore opened the scoring in the fourth minute of the game before netting the eventual game-winner in the 19th minute as the Royals held on to edge the Mules on the road.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Margo Donlin, Elizabethtown
    September 04, 2018
    (Sr, G - Wilmington, Del.) Senior goalie Margo Donlin helped Elizabethtown get off to a 2-0 start over the weekend with back-to-back shutouts. She needed just two saves on Friday at Frostburg State in a 2-0 win and came back to stop four shots at home against Dickinson as the Blue Jays won 1-0. In total, Donlin made six saves.
