Landmark Announces Players of the Week

TOWSON, Md. – The Landmark Conference has released the Players of the Week for the seventh week of the season. The conference will recognize a student-athlete for each sport based on their contributions to their team throughout the season.

Offensive Player of the Week
Brooke Gagliano
Drew (Jr., M, Freehold, N.J.)
 
Gagliano had a hand in all six goals for the Rangers in a 2-0 week including a 4-1 conference win over Scranton. On Saturday, she tallied six points, scoring two goals and assisting on two others against Scranton. In Wednesday's 2-0 shutout of King's, the junior assisted on the game-winning score and tacked on an insurance goal early in the second half to seal the sixth-straight Ranger victory.
   
Defensive Player of the Week
C.C. Carlini
Drew (Jr., GK, Amherst, N.H.)
 
Carlini and the Drew defense shut down conference opponent Scranton on Saturday to remain unbeaten in the Landmark Conference. The junior made a game-high 10 saves and allowed the only goal of the week on a penalty stroke. Carlini pitched her third-straight shutout earlier in the week against King's College on Wednesday making four saves.

Notes:
After Drew, Catholic and Scranton clinched playoff spots last week, Drew and Catholic earned wins to remain tied for first at 4-0. With less than two weeks remaining in the regular season the final playoff spot is still up for grabs.
