TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference has released the Athletes of the Week. The conference will recognize a student-athlete for each sport based on their contributions to their team throughout the season.

Men’s Basketball
Drew University had one game last week. The Rangers beat FDU-Florham 86-74 to improve to 4-1 on the season. Moravian College split a pair of games last week. The Greyhounds (4-3) defeated DeSales 81-68 before falling to Johns Hopkins 92-62. The University of Scranton earned a win in their only game of the week. The Royals (4-1) picked up a 93-86 victory at Cabrini.
Women’s Basketball
Catholic University extended its win streak to seven thanks to a 72-65 victory at Haverford. The Cardinals are now 7-0 on the season. Goucher College improved to 4-2 on the young season. The Gophers earned a 73-66 win at Notre Dame (Md.) and a 64-52 win in their home opener against St. Mary’s (Md.). The University of Scranton earned a win before the holiday break. The Lady Royals (5-0) defeated Marywood 78-35. Susquehanna University also earned a win last week. The River Hawks (4-1) won their fourth straight game, defeating Lycoming 78-65.

Men's Athlete of the Week - Lybrant Robinson, Drew
(Junior, F - Manchester, N.J.)
Drew junior Lybrant Robinson posted 22 points and eight rebounds in Drew's 86-74 victory over FDU-Florham. He shot 8-for-15 from the field and knocked down a pair of big buckets in the second half to help the Rangers pull away. First, he nailed a 3-pointer with 7:41 left that came in the middle of a decisive 15-2 run after the Devils had tied the game. He also helped seal the win with a put-back with 53 seconds remaining that made it a 12-point game.
Women's Athlete of the Week - Sydney Poindexter, Catholic
(Senior, F - Clarksville, Md.)
Catholic senior Sydney Poindexter totaled 20 points and 12 rebounds as the Cardinals led for all but 2:30 en route to a 72-65 road win over Haverford. She also added two assists, two steals, and three blocks. The Fords, who entered the game receiving votes in the latest d3hoops.com Top 25 Poll, lost for just the eighth time in their last 38 games at home dating back to the 2016-17 season. The defending Centennial Conference champions entered the game ranked fourth in Division III, allowing opponents a mere 41.4 points per game.
